Supporting Youth and Families with Unique Challenges
Inspire Community Outreach Inc. is an incorporated non-profit social services agency providing evidence informed, culturally sensitive, family-centered education and programming, designed to meet the needs of those living with mental health issues and neurological/cognitive differences.
How Does Inspire Get Funding?
We receive small grants, donations from local community members, and do various forms of fundraising throughout the year, which help to subsidize our costs and allow programs at no cost whenever possible.
“Pay-What-You-Can” rate for schools, and non-profits.
Corporate rates $100/hr facilitation plus preparation. We always include numerous hour of specialized volunteer work, at no cost. These funds are used to sponsor youth and families to attend our programs at no cost.
How Does It Work?
We work with our community that serve youth, children and families. We are an ally to all people: and that includes our Indigenous Community, LBGTTQ community, inclusive to all people of all abilities; we celebrate each person’s uniqueness.
We welcome community suggestions and enjoy working with other teams. This can take up to several months, as we have a limited team and require time to do research, get funding through grants and find and train appropriate staff. We don’t like to re-do the wheel! If there are skilled professional and excellent programs out there, we enjoy most, learning with and from them, to better serve our community.
We are therapists, teachers, clinical case managers, social workers, and many others volunteering to serve our community. All staff working have both criminal record and child abuse registry checks complete.
