Supporting complex children during Social Isolation

Join us for a special training, created for increasing our understanding and capacity to support complex children. This includes children with neurological, cognitive and mental heal differences and those who are sometimes called sensitive. Children with multiple disabilities or differences will be discussed, as well ad connecting to children who are hard to connect to.

Objectives:
1) Introduction to disabilities and challenging behaviours.

2) Understanding the hidden reality of children with disabilities, including complex needs.

3) Learning responses you can use immediately to support connection to children who are hard to connect to, with special focus on social isolation.

4) Working within limited resources to maximize the well-being of children.

5) Providing practical tools customized to the needs of complex and sensitive children.

6) Building on your strengths and giving a variety of resources for continued growth and learning.
