Back to school is a really tough time at our house. Yes, I know it’s November! It’s still hard. With 4 kids and lots of extras like: being in school myself, working outside the home, hockey, volunteering, teens, you know, all the things, it can get hard. Plus, children with differences put an extra layer on things. Some moments and days are great, and others are TOUGH.

No matter where you are in your journey, Inspire is here. If you are having a bumpy time with one or more of your kids, we see you. If you are waiting diagnosis for your child, you are welcome. And if you have children with diagnosed differences, we will accept you.

The Inspire team has been there too. No matter where you are, you are not alone.

When things are tough, try to remember that there are bright spots. Sometimes I just have to hang on to those. When my kids are helpful.  When my babe falls asleep in my arms (or just asleep in general!). When you look deep into their eyes and see their beauty and brilliance. BOOM! MAGIC!

Your child’s love- you helped form that. You child’s humor- you bet you did! The joys in your life are there not just to delight you, but because of you. Except chocolate, that’s for EVERYONE.

I’m sorry if things are hard right now. The waves of challenge will always come, and between are some pretty amazing things.
