Job Posting: Clinical Case Manager

Competitive wages. Contract Term for 6 months with extension expected.

Hours per week: 15 with the opportunity to increase hours              

Start date: Immediately

Expiry date: July 26, 2019 at 4pm. 

Be a part of meaningful change in our community, offering a one of a kind support to families falling between the cracks of social services. 

A Clinical Case Manager is responsible for supporting a caseload of families that include children with disabilities or complex needs and attends sessions in-home. One month mentorship training related to clinical support offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

A Clinical Case Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to nurturing positive relationships with families in high levels of distress; being part of an interdisciplinary team to work alongside families in new ways; meeting weekly with clinical supervision to ensure inspires mandate to uphold meaningful and innovative support is maintained. Applicant must have the ability to manage time and schedule within allotted hours. 

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
  • Effective interpersonal communication and listening skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and skills in planning
  • Knowledge and understanding of youth development, family centered-care and engagement
  • Experience working in cross-cultural settings
  • Post-secondary degree in social work, counseling or social services
  • Clear and current Criminal Record Check Clear and current Child Abuse Registry Check 
  • Access to a car to attend home visits throughout Winnipeg, including occasionally within 30 minutes outside the city limits

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Lived experience as a caregiver to individuals with disabilities and complex needs
