My child at the store: running wildly
Me: Why don’t I keep chocolate in my purse at all times?
Raising children who have high energy or exceptional needs is not easy. Come learn with the Inspire team and Diamond Athletics, who has real life experience with different needs and abilities and the options we have available locally to support our child to be calm. There may be an item or two for us parents too!
Some of the main topics to be discussed include:
- What is available for my son who chews his hands or dangerous objects?
- Different items we can use to help our kids
- My child has high energy and I need to know what options I can use at home to help
Come experience weighted blankets and other products like lap pads, vests, chewelry, therabands, balls for knots/ back rollers, putty, cuterly, teethers, cushions that can support a calm child!
Time: 1-2:30 p.m. (your presentation for the first 45 min, Inspire the last 45 min)
Location: 175 Mayfair Avenue, Macdonald Youth Services on the main floor.
Details: Hands-on presentation by Diamond Athletic and open question period with the Inspire team and hilarious stories from parents like us.
